Winter Wildlife Workshop

Come have some wild winter fun over school break! Make winter bird feeders, create paper snowy owls, dissect owl pellets, learn to identify wildlife tracks in the snow, and learn all about what our native wildlife does during the cold winter months. Bella, our educational ambassador barn owl, will be with us, helping everyone learn all about our vulnerable native wildlife.

Family Owl Prowl

Ghiloni Park, Marlborough, MA
New date and time. (The January prowl sadly had to be rescheduled due to an illness.)
Join our family and Bella, our educational barn owl, and learn all about our native owls. Then turn on your nocturnal senses and take a nature walk, while we listen for our resident owls calling out in the night.
A complimentary hot cocoa bar will be provided!
Winter Waterfowl Watch

Hagar Pond, Marlborough, MA
Learn all about our resident waterfowl that frequent our ponds and lakes. Also, catch a glimpse of the migrating waterfowl that vacation in our local climate. If we are lucky, we will be fortunate to see our resident bald eagle that visits the pond.
Participants are asked to bring their own binoculars, if you have them. We will have one set for people to share.
Climate Cafe - Wild Baby Season

Join us for another exciting and educational program, as we start our second lecture in the Climate Cafe series.
We will learn all about all of the native wildlife that are having their babies this spring and summer. We navigate through the challenges that these young offspring face, as they grow up in this ever-changing world.
Bella, our educational ambassador barn owl, will be with us and ready to meet you, as we learn all about our native wildlife!
Spring Migration Bird Walk

Assabet Wildlife Refuge, Sudbury, MA
Take a walk through the beautiful, paved trails, while we observe the colorful breeding plumage of our local birds and listen to their songs. We will learn which birds are passing through on their way north and which will stay to nest.
Participants are asked to bring their own binoculars, if you have them. We will have one set for people to share.
